Griffin Motion is a manufacturer of precision motion products. We are looking for a talented person to help in the assembly and test of our products. Our fast growing company has need for a self starting individual that will be involved in every aspect of the assembly and test cycle. The right individual will have strong mechanical/electrical aptitude. Attention to detail and a passion for quality are a must.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assemble company products using company manufacturing documentation and engineering specifications.
  • Utilize appropriate machines and tools to install, mount, fasten, align, software upload, software configuration and testing products and components.
  • Assist with the incoming receiving inspection as per the company’s Incoming Inspection/Receiving procedures.
  • Assist in the packaging and shipping of the company’s finished goods
  • Assist in the inventory stock taking process and assist in inventory control procedures.
  • Examine drawings, BOM’s, configurations and work orders to determine work duties.
  • Examine and test assemblies at various stages of production in order to identify errors.
  • Other related duties as assigned by Management and/or Executive Team.
Qualifications
  • Experience with electronic, mechanical and software products.
  • Understanding of quality inspection and testing processes
  • Knowledge of electro-mechanical assembly.
  • Proficient in soldering
  • Proficient in the use of assembly equipment, computer software and tools.
  • Basic skill level in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly

Griffin Motion, LLC is a manufacturer of high precision positioning equipment for the semiconductor, space, defense, medical and research markets. We are in need of talented and motivated individuals in our machine shop. Our clean, conditioned shop includes new Mori Seiki and Okuma equipment allowing for the highest machining tolerances.
Duties will include setup and operation of both CNC mills and CNC lathes.
Requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical prints
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must possess a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Pre-employment drug screen
Prefer experience of at least 1 year. Candidates with more experience are encouraged to apply as well.
