The Griffin Motion MCA-SV Servo controller is a flexible 1 to 3 axis servo motor controller.  This controller is designed to control both brush and brushless servo motor driven stages with a peak current requirement of 5A per axis.   It operates from a 12 to 40VDC external supply and can supply a continuous drive current of 3A per axis.  Encoder feedback with a maximum count frequency of 4MHz is standard for all axis.  Control loop PID terms can be modified for each axis.  Hall-effect sensor inputs allow motor phasing and commutation.  Extra 2 amp peak drive outputs are available for operation of accessories such as a motor brake.  Four additional inputs are available for each axis to be used with end of travel limit switches and homing signals.  Custom connector panels can be included for OEM applications.  Standard interface communication utilizes RS232, however, RS422 and USB are also available.  This controller can be programmed for stand alone operation.
